Capt. Archie Gold with a monster blue!
Capt. Archie has been fishing the James River stictly for blue catfish since 1991. He is a self taught catfisherman learning and perfecting the movements and patterns of the trophy blue cat, so he knows where to be and when to be there. Without a doubt he has put in the time and dedication needed to be a blue cat expert including being a former VA state record holder. When it comes to his accomplishments on the James River he is second to none. Capt. Archie also is a proud yearly supporter of our VA Wounded Warriors fishing events as a way to give back to our service men and women.
He is Coast Guard licensed, insured and certified in first aid and cpr so be sure to let him know of any medical conditions before your trip.
